Troopy Camper Fitout - FAQ
Where are you located?
All camper fitouts are built in Currumbin Valley, Gold Coast. All drawers are picked up from here.
Do you ship camper fitouts?
Shipping can be arranged to a depot near you, which there are over 200 options. All items will come secured to a pallet.
How long does it take to get my fitout?
Standard designs are commonly a 1–2 week turnaround. Custom designs will take longer.
Can I pay a deposit for my camper fitout?
Yes – you can pay a 50% deposit to get manufacturing underway and the remainder on collection. Reach out if you would like to do this option and I can organise.
Can I customise an existing design?
The standard designs can be customised to better suit your needs. Reach out with your ideas and we can see what designs we can come up with.
What material do you use?
A high quality – European Hexa Birch Plywood is used in all cabinetry. This has a beautiful furniture-grade wood core, wrapped in a black film (originally made for durable flooring). You can see the quality difference and beauty between this and standard plywood (which is more rough and unpleasing in appearance).
Why don't you use lightweight plywood?
Birch is an extremely strong and durable wood, whereas lightweight plywood is very soft. This means when using the stronger plywood, you can use less in the design – closing the weight gap.
Are the camper fitouts installed?
If you would like installation, and it's not included in the price, there's an installation fee of $100.
Can I get an electrical system installed with my camper fitout?
If you would like to get a package with your fitout, please reach out and we can go through the options to get your system going.
